Duffy Visit - Alistair McIntyre

On Tuesday we had our first Duffy Assembly for the year. Alistair came to visit Te Mahia School and talk to us about his dream of writing a book. Alistair was not a good writer at school. In fact, he did not like much about school and was absent a lot. He told us how this reflected in his results. After an accident stopped him from doing his dream job he decided to put pen to paper and write a children's book. Just goes to show, you can achieve anything if you really put your mind to it.
